Researcher positions in materials computation and modeling are available in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be working on simulating materials properties using first-principles methods based on density functional theory and molecular dynamics.
Required qualifications:
1. A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a relevant field from a renowned and accredited university.
2. Experienced in Linux shell scripting and programming in Python, Fortran, or a similar language.
3. Excellent communication skills in English.
